How to reach BU from Istanbul Atatürk Airport
When you arrive the airport, the easiest way to reach Boğaziçi University is
to take a directly a taxi. The university is some 35 kilometers away from Istanbul and the taxi fare will be around 25 €. You can print this
document and show it to the taxi driver to come to the dorm.
Alternatively, you can take an airport bus service (HAVAŞ) to Akmerkez, Etiler, which is about 2 kilometers from the University campus. The buses leave airport once every two hours between 07:00 and 21:00 and the fare is 6 €. Other HAVAS buses, which leave for the city center, would be more complicated to use.

The taximeter opens with 1,5 - YTL, and it charges ~1 - YTL per km. The taxi rates are 50% higher between 24:00 and 06:00 hours. It is possible to find a taxi in the airport in front of the arrivals terminal, on the spot.. Again, it is always possible to find a taxi in front of Akmerkez.
